Brief description of the main scopes:
1. Research of composition, stand structure and dynamics of managed, unmanaged and old-qrowth oak forests.
2. Elaboration of the methods of coneservation oriented forest management and monitoring of conservation oriented forest management.
3. Research of changes in forest cover and extension of main forest types in Hungary.
4. Habitat classification and maping.
